The iPhone 14 hasn't arrived yet but we already have information about the iPhone 15 Pro.

According to the Brazilian site iPhone Blog, the iPhone 15 Pro will not have a physical sim slot.

iPhone 13, 13 Pro support 2 eSIM at the same time but they still have nano sim slot. However, this will start to change from 2023. iPhone 15 Pro will only support eSIM. According to the above source, Apple is coordinating with a partner in the UK to implement this project.

Of course, this information is yet to be verified. However, it seems that Apple is pursuing the strategy of an iPhone without a physical port and a physical sim slot in the future.

However, Apple may still sell iPhones with physical sim slots in markets where eSIMs have yet to take off.
