Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently stated in a message on the social media platform Twitter that the constraints of wireless technology and the immature MagSafe ecosystem are the reasons why an iPhone without ports connection cannot be born.
According to some sources, Apple appears to be planning for a future with a portless iPhone with MagSafe. This information is even more relevant now that the EU has mandated that all iPhones sold in the EU include USB-C connections.
Apple will be less affected by third-party accessory manufacturers if it uses a USB-C connector. As a result, Apple can get around the restriction by selling an iPhone without a port for Magafe and its other services.
Kuo has previously stated that an iPhone with a USB-C connector will not be released until at least 2023.
