Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst, has just revealed that the next HomePod will debut in 2024 with a 7-inch display.

Ming-Chi Kuo has made his most recent Apple HomePod prediction. Accordingly, Apple’s smart speaker of the next generation will debut in the first half of 2024.

The next HomePod is expected to feature a 7-inch display and represents a significant step in Apple’s smart home strategy. The new display will enable the device to have more features and to integrate more deeply into Apple’s device ecosystem.

Tianma Microelectronics is regarded as the sole provider of the display panel for the upcoming HomePod. Kuo also stated that Tianma may receive orders for iPad displays in the future.

Since last year, rumors have circulated regarding Apple’s plans to release tvOS-powered HomePod. In addition to functioning as a smart speaker in the home, the device is rumored to feature FaceTime capabilities through its integrated camera.
