Apple is preparing for a drastic iPhone 14 series redesign.

iPhone 13 does not have many design changes compared to iPhone 12. But iPhone 14 will bring many improvements in design. This is the biggest change since the iPhone X (2017).

According to PhoneArena, many people don’t like display cutout abomination that that houses Apple’s signature Face ID components to the extent that the notch has become a unique design differentiator for Apple. On iPhone 13 series, notch is smaller. And iPhone 14 Pro/Max will come without a notch.

iPhone 14 Pro will finally ditch the notch

The Elec (from Korean) share details that Samsung is already receiving machines from Philoptics and Wonik IPS. They will be used for laser-cutting holes in the iPhone 14 series OLED displays.

It’s mean, Apple decided to firmly that it will do away with the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. Samsung did that in Galaxy S10 series. iPhone 14 Pro Max 6.7 inch will have camera hole in the display instead of a notch.

And iPhone 14 Pro Max will become the iPhone with the best screen-to-body ratio Apple has ever designed. iPhone 14 Pro display is the same Pro Max.
