According to AppleOsophy, the next-generation iPhone SE (iPhone SE 2022 or iPhone SE 3) would lack a feature that distinguishes it from previous iPhones.
Apple’s MagSafe charging technology, which allows consumers to charge their iPhones wirelessly, is the culprit. Previously, iPhones could only be charged through the Lightning connection and the charging cable.
This does not rule out the possibility of wireless charging on the next iPhone SE. It will, however, use Qi wireless charging technology rather than MagSafe.
The upcoming iPhone SE is rumored to feature a similar look to the iPhone 8 and support 5G.
Apple has began mass manufacturing of the new iPhone SE and iPad Air, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The next iPad Air will also include a 5G connection option (in addition to the familiar Wi-Fi version).
Both of these items are likely to be announced during an Apple spring event in March or April 2022. Apple, on the other hand, has yet to announce an official release date.
