According to 9to5mac, this year’s ordinary iPhone 14 model could include two appealing hardware improvements that were previously only available on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max versions from last year.
The iPad Pro was the only device that could use ProMotion until last season. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max later received the option to modify the screen scanning speed. Apple, on the other hand, opted not include it in the iPhone 13’s design. On the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros, ProMotion is also available.
The iPhone 14 will also feature ProMotion, according to supply chain expert Jeff Pu of Haitong International Securities (via MacRumors). That means you won’t have to shell out 999 dollars for the Pro version to enjoy this feature.
Pu goes on to say that starting with the iPhone 14, non-Pro models would get a RAM boost from 4GB to 6GB. That’s the same memory that was released two years ago with the iPhone 12 Pro. For another year, the iPhone 14 Pro is projected to equal the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro with 6GB of RAM.
