There are rumors that Apple will skip the iPhone mini this year and instead make the iPhone 14 Max. Because of this, the price structure is likely to change. Some experts think that the two Pro models will cost about $100 more this year than they did last year. But TrendForce doesn’t agree with this point of view.
In fact, the iPhone 14 might cost $50 less than the iPhone 13. That means it will start at about $800 USD. Last year, the starting price for the iPhone 13 mini was, of course, $700. This year, though, this version was left out, so analysts couldn’t compare the two. The starting price of this year’s iPhone is expected to be between 750 and 800 USD.
Analysts agree that iPhone 14 Max’s price will be $100 higher than iPhone 14’s price. So, its starting price is probably between $850 and $900.
And, according to TrendForce, almost all analysts agree that the Pro models will cost more than $50 or $100. (according to other predictions).
The two Pro versions of the iPhone 14 will, of course, have new features that the regular version doesn’t have. This will include a new Apple A16 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, a new 120Hz LTPO display with AOD and a new Face ID system, a higher-resolution 48MP main camera with 8K video recording, a new ultra wide camera, and more. The two models of iPhone 14, 14 Max, on the other hand, aren’t even getting new processors.
The September 7 event will be held by Apple. Let’s wait and see how much the iPhone 14 will cost when it goes on sale.
