Everything you need to know about the new iPhone 14 series

The A16 Bionic chip will be used in the iPhone 14, while the Pro model will have a more powerful SoC.

Everything you need to know about the new iPhone 14-series is right here.

Highlights

  • iPhone 14-series is said to come in four models – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max have been said to draw power from the A16 Bionic chip
  • The Pro versions use the more powerful A16 Pro chip and of course with more RAM.

The iPhone 14 sports a 48MP camera, a pill-shaped punch-hole camera, a 120Hz refresh rate screen, and an e-sim-only option, according to many sources. The Pro variants will come with up to 2TB of memory, an A16 chipset, and a slew of additional goodies.

And, according to a source, the iPhone 14 will be equipped with the A16 bionic chip, which is an improved version of the A15 chip seen in the iPhone Pro. Meanwhile, the new A16 Pro processor will be available in the iPhone 14 Pro versions.

iPhone 14 series

The iPhone 14 series, as far as we know, will include four versions this year: the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. After the iPhone 13 small, Apple will no longer release mini devices. As a result, the iPhone SE series is the Mini’s smaller brother. The screens on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are 6.1 inches, while the screens on the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max are 6.7 inches.

The iPhone 14 will cost the same as the iPhone 13, while the iPhone 14 Max will set you back an extra $100. The iPhone 14 Pro with extra features starts at $1099.

A16 processor from Apple

On the iPhone 14-series, Apple is likely to release two variants of the A16 processor. The A16 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14 and 14 Max is rumored to be the same as in the iPhone 13 Pro models. The Apple A15 Bionic SoC in the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini has four cores, whereas the A15 Bionic in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro has five cores. The iPhone 14-series will include something similar.

iPhone 14 series

The A15 chip already outperforms Samsung’s current flagship, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, making it the most powerful chipset on the market. With the A16 Bionic technology, the iPhone 14 and 14 Max are predicted to demolish their Android counterparts. The A16 Pro of the Pro versions will have more GPU core power as well as faster RAM support. However, we’ll have to wait till the iPhones are released to see how they operate in the real world.
