According to Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg insider said that before the end of 2022, you can register your iPhone in the same way as you register for Apple Music.
- “The aim is to make purchasing an iPhone or iPad similar to paying for iCloud storage or an Apple Music membership on a monthly basis,” Gurman explains. Customers will be able to sign up for hardware using the same Apple ID and App Store accounts they use to buy apps and subscribe to existing services.”
- Instead of an installment plan, this new subscription will be a fixed monthly fee that will allow you to upgrade to new hardware as soon as the product is available.
- You can also use current Apple One or AppleCare memberships to further integrate.
This may be an intriguing concept, providing you with a whole new way to own and enjoy a new iPhone. The issue is, how much does it cost to rent an iPhone on a monthly basis?
