Users must use the hashtags #ShotoniPhone and #iPhonemacrochallenge on Instagram, Twitter, or Weibo to enter the challenge.
Acording Mac Rumors, users should mention the model they used to capture the shot in the caption. Apple also accepts email contributions at shotoniphone@apple.com.
Macro images taken directly from the camera app will be acceptable, but photos modified with Apple’s Photos app or third-party apps will also be accepted (using iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max). The challenge is only open to people who are 18 years old or older, and it is not open to Apple workers or their immediate family members.
After the submission period has ended, a group of experienced judges will analyze the images from around the world and choose ten winners. The top images will be featured on Apple’s Instagram account, Newsroom, and the website.
The winning images may also appear in Apple’s promotional campaigns, such as in Apple Stores or on billboards, according to Apple.
From today through February 16, 2022, users can submit entries. By April 12, 2022, the winners will be contacted.
