Apple might replace the existing 13-inch MacBook Pro with a new MacBook Pro 14-inch model by the end of 2022, according to Apple Insider. This version will employ a somewhat more expensive new chip.
The M2 chip will be used in the upcoming 14-inch MacBook Pro, which is slated to be introduced in mid-2022. On Monday, respected leaker DylanDKT revealed this information.
DylanDKT later stated in a tweet that the gadget will look similar to the 14-inch M1 Pro and M1 Max variants.
Apple will also produce a new MacBook Air with the same M2 CPU, in addition to the new 13-inch MacBook Pro.
In November 2020, the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 was introduced. It was one of the first Mac models to feature Apple’s new CPU, alongside the Mac mini and MacBook Air.
The 13-inch tablet, unlike the current M1 Max and M1 Pro variants, is designed similarly to the earlier Intel-powered MacBook Pro.
It’s uncertain whether the 13-inch MacBook Pro will have the same number of ports as the 14-inch MacBook Pro.
Some leaks from January suggested that the next MacBook Pro might feature the marginally quicker M2 processor. The M2 processor is rumored to include a 10-core GPU, although no information about the cores has been released.
DylanDKT also revealed the “M2” MacBook Air in October, stating that it will feature a squarer shape similar to the M1 Pro and M1 Max variants. Many people are interested in the information provided by this leaker since he has accurately anticipated new Apple goods in the past.
