According to the latest rumors, Apple’s iPhone 16 series, which is expected to be released in September of this year, will come in a new green color.
The rumor comes from “Fixed Focus Digital” on Weibo (a Chinese social media platform). The source also claims that the new iPhone lineup will come in green, white, and purple.
Previously, rumors suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro would only be available in Space Black, White, Gray, and Rose Gold.
“Fixed Focus Digital” describes the new green color as “quite beautiful.” This green color is different from the Alpine Green of the iPhone 13 Pro from 2022 or the simple green of the iPhone 13.
Obviously, this new green color will be different from the green of previous iPhones, simply because they are applied to different materials. The iPhone 13 lineup has two green colors because they are applied to a stainless steel frame – on the iPhone 13 Pro and an aluminum frame – on the iPhone 13.
Similarly, if the rumors are accurate, the green color applied to the titanium frame of the iPhone 16 Pro pair will be different from the aluminum frame of the standard iPhone 16.
