On Monday, Stephen’s lawyer, Michelle Braidman Associates, said that he had died.
In a statement on Twitter, they said that they would miss him very much and that they were sad to share the news.
The sad post said, “We are very sorry to tell you that our wonderful client Stephen Greif has died.
“During his long career, he played many roles on screen and on stage, including at the National Theatre, RSC, and West End.
“We will miss him very much, and his family and friends are in our thoughts.”
Stephen’s acting career was very successful. After he graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he won a number of awards, such as Best Actor and Most Promising Actor.
Stephen’s most recent role was as Speak of the House, Sir Bernard Weatherill in the Netflix hit The Crown, which came out in 2020.
He is best known for playing Travis in the BBC science fiction show Blake’s 7 in 1978. He had a big part in the first season.
After hearing about his sad death, former coworkers, friends, and fans of his work paid tribute to him. Barnaby Edwards, a voice actor, said he was “very sad to hear that Stephen Greif has left us.”
