The iPhone 14 Plus is perfect for consumers who want a bigger screen but don’t need the Pro and Pro Max’s Dynamic Island and always-on display.
Most iFans have chosen the Pro variants over the iPhone 14 thus far. According to JP Morgan’s report, price-sensitive buyers are choosing the iPhone 13 over the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
Don’t dismiss the iPhone 14 Plus. It’s suitable for people who want a huge screen but don’t want to spend $200 on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It’s lightweight and boasts good battery life and cameras.
Here’s all you need to know about the iPhone 14 Plus.

Review of the iPhone 14: What’s good?
We first talk about the positive aspects of the iPhone 14 Plus. Here are a few noteworthy points.
Large screen is highlight. Many users prefer a larger display for reading, movies, and games.
The iPhone 14 has the same screen. YouTube videos have deep blacks and bright colors.
You can keep more applications on your homepage or see more on a website. This helps if you want to see more while raising the font size, which may be useful for some.
The iPhone 14 Plus is 1.31 ounces lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Apple says the iPhone 14 Plus has “the greatest battery life ever” for daily use. Tests showed good battery life. You can watch YouTube videos for 19 hours before the phone died, which is in line with Apple’s guarantee of 20 hours. Apple guarantees 100 hours of music playback, longer than any iPhone.
Solid cameras. You don’t get the telephoto or particularly sharp primary cameras on the iPhone 14 Pro versions, but you do get an enhanced 12-megapixel main camera that took nice shots, including sharper and brighter nighttime photos.
New selfie camera with autofocus. Your selfies will be crisper than on the iPhone 13.
Apple introduced accident detection and emergency SOS via satellite on all iPhone 14 models. Multiple reports have proven the functionality works, but I haven’t tested it. iPhone 13 lacks both safety measures.
Review of the iPhone 14: What’s bad?
Even though it’s bigger, the iPhone 14 Plus isn’t much different from the iPhone 13 from last year.
From the Pro models, you’ll notice a bigger change. The displays on these phones are always on and can show notifications even when the phone isn’t being used. They also have a feature called “Dynamic Island,” which makes better use of the notch at the top of the screen.
Dynamic Island can show things like album art for the music you’re listening to, and it will soon be able to show live sports scores at the top of your screen and other things.
If you want to upgrade your camera, you’ll notice a difference if you’re switching from an iPhone 12 to an iPhone 14 Plus. If you’re switching from an iPhone 13 to an iPhone 14 Plus, you won’t notice much of a difference, other than the autofocus on the front-facing selfie camera.
The A15 chip in the iPhone 14 Plus is the same as the one in the iPhone 13, but it has an extra graphics processing core that makes it better for playing games. When I played the game “Diablo: Immortal” on both phones, I didn’t notice any difference.
And one of the things that’s most disappointing is that the Phone 14 series, which includes the iPhone 14 Plus, still has a Lightning port instead of a USB-C port.
Should you buy an iPhone 14 Plus?
People who just want an iPhone with a bigger screen and don’t want or need the extra features that come with the Pro models should buy an iPhone 14 Plus.
At $899, the larger screen and longer battery life of the iPhone 14 make up for the extra $100 over the standard iPhone 14. But if you already have an iPhone 13, you probably don’t need to switch to it.
