The weight of iPhone 14 Pro Max will be very heavy

The weight of iPhone 14 Pro Max is expected to be about 255 grams, heavier than most high-end smartphones in the same segment (except for folding screen devices).

PhoneArena has just cited a source from China saying that the iPhone 14 Pro Max could become the heaviest high-end phone on the market. Some argue that this will make the user’s product experience more difficult when the iPhone has square edges and is difficult to hold.

Also in this leak, the above source confirmed that the 6.7-inch version will be called iPhone 14 Plus instead of iPhone Max as some recent rumors have.

The weight of iPhone 14 Pro Max

The leaked image shows the weight of all 4 versions of iPhone 14 series. Specifically, the weight of iPhone 14 Pro Max will weigh about 255 grams, 15 grams higher than the previous generation.

Last year, the iPhone 13 Pro Max also became the heaviest flagship on the market at the time with a weight of 430 grams.

Despite the high weight, the battery capacity of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is not increased, only stopping at 4,323 mAh. PhoneArena believes that the extra weight is because Apple needs to make the camera cluster with thicker lenses and larger sensors. The company is expected to increase the camera resolution of the new iPhone to 48 MP after years of contentment with a 12 MP sensor.

The weight of iPhone 14 Pro Max

The volume increase will apply to both iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus. Specifically, according to rumors, the iPhone 14 Pro will weigh 215 grams, and the iPhone 14 Plus model will be 245 grams.

As always, Apple has yet to confirm the accuracy of these rumors. Let’s wait and see!
