Apple is expected to make many major changes to its handheld product lines, starting with the iPhone 14 in 2022. The iPhone mini version will be paused. Instead, Apple will create a clearer line between the Pro and non-Pro versions. For example, we should see the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone Pro Max.
Pro version will have better camera, ProMotion 120Hz screen. However, Apple will add a really different feature to the Pro version to distinguish it from the non-Pro version.
Those who traditionally go for the larger screen size will have two 6.7-inch options next year in the iPhone Max and the iPhone Pro Max. The Pro version will be for photography enthusiasts. In addition, Apple will provide a larger battery capacity for the Pro Max model.
All four 2022 iPhone models use the A16 Bionic chipset manufactured by TSMC based on the 4nm process. Initially, it was expected that the iPhone 14 would use a 3nm chip. However, some difficulties forced TSMC to delay this plan.
