MacBook Air M2 colors – In the second half of 2022, Apple is likely to unveil a new MacBook Air featuring an M2 CPU and a brighter look. Here’s what we’ve learned thus far about it.
Three popular Apple Macs saw no design changes when the M1 processor was released in late 2020. Since its introduction in 2008, the MacBook Air has maintained the same design appeal. The new MacBook Air M2 will, however, change that.
Apple has unveiled a new design and MacBook Air M2 colors
The new MacBook Air will have a slimmer, lighter chassis with bright tones, similar to the revamped 24-inch iMac. White bezels, a notch, and a white keyboard are depicted in the renders supplied by AppleInsider.
The MacBook Air’s tapered case has long been a defining feature. Apple can now include Thunderbolt 4 ports in the latest edition since the chassis is wider.
The MacBook Air 2022‘s metal frame is more contoured than that of the 14-inch MacBook Pro. When purchasing the MacBook Air M2, buyers have the same color selections as when purchasing the 24-inch iMac: blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple.
White keys set in a copper-colored aluminum border will lighten the interior colors. Off-white bezels are expected surrounding the screen to complement the camera cover.
Apple may employ mini-LED panels for the upcoming MacBook Air, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He recently stated, however, that this capability will not be available on the MacBook Air at this time. At this time, Apple may want to keep mini-LED panels reserved for MacBook Pro models.
Apple M2 chip will be used in the next MacBook Air, which will feature numerous enhancements
M2 will give the MacBook Air two Thunderbolt 4 ports and one MagSafe connector for charging, thanks to better I/O. According to reports, the Apple M2 chip outperforms the M1 (but not the M1 Pro or M1 Max). More technologies, such as the speedier Media Engine and Neural Engine, will almost certainly be included.
The webcam on the system can record in 1080p resolution and features an ultra-wide lens for use in Center Stage. The functionality first appeared on the iPad Pro, and while it is not yet available on any Mac models, it is available in Studio Display.
The new MacBook Air has been rumored since the Apple event in April. The release will be pushed out to Q3 or Q4, according to Mark Gurman. The official launch could happen in June during the WWDC 2022.
