The world’s most expensive iPhones
iPhone 3G King’s Button
Are you prepared to shell out $2.5 million for an iPhone? Is this a ridiculous question? No, if you have the aforementioned funds, you can purchase this dream phone in 2009.
Peter Aloisson, a renowned artist, created this specific iPhone. Aloisson had to get inventive because the device lacked a number pad to encrust and it was impossible to place diamonds on the touch screen.
The phone’s case is constructed of 18-carat white and yellow gold, according to New Atlas. On the border between the case and the display, it is set with 38 diamonds. The crown jewel is a single 6.6-carat diamond that takes the place of the iPhone’s 3G home button.
Now you believe that the $2.5 million price tag on an iPhone is justified, correct?
Goldstriker iPhone 3GS Supreme
If you’re unfamiliar with Stuart Hughes, now is the time to become acquainted. Hughes has introduced flagship models at exorbitantly expensive costs.
The iPhone 3GS Supreme, which retails for £1,920,000.00 (a little over $2.5 million), rounds off this list.
The phone’s case is composed of 22 carat gold and is encircled by a line of 136 diamonds. The home key, like the King’s button, is replaced with a single big diamond measuring 7.1 carats.
Naturally, you cannot own a treasure like this without a suitable chest in which to put it. Your iPhone 3GS Supreme is housed in a 15-pound granite block lined with leather.
iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition
Hughes was forced to adapt when the iPhone’s design altered somewhat. The iPhone 4’s screen was pushed to the edge (where it was usually diamond-encrusted by Hughes). Hughes shifted his diamond collection aside and packed it with a slew of new ones.
The Diamond Rose, according to Stuart Hughes, contains three times the number of diamonds as its predecessor (approximately 500). The phone’s back is rose gold, the name Diamond Rose is engraved on it, and the Apple logo sparkles with actual diamond treatment.
The Home button is once again replaced with a huge pink diamond. This time, the stone is much larger, at 7.4 carats. Additionally, an 8-carat diamond may be substituted. As with the previous version, it is shipped in a cut granite box. The Diamond Rose comes with 32GB of internal storage, which may seem small in comparison to today’s handsets, but it was the maximum storage option available on the iPhone 4 at the time.
Only two Diamond Rose phones were manufactured, and they sold for £5,000,000 (about $6.5 million).
iPhone 4S Elite Gold
Stuart Hughes has returned with another high-end iPhone, this time the iPhone 4S Elite Gold. The 4S Elite’s overall design is identical to that of earlier Hughes phones. It’s a normal iPhone 4S with 64GB of internal storage, functionally speaking. However, you will need to spend almost 7.8 million USD to own this iPhone.
The entire phone is encircled by over 500 diamonds. Only two were ever made, and each has its own distinct appearance.
Hughes has replaced the ordinary iPhone 4S Home button with a single 8.6 carat diamond. As with prior phones, customization is possible. The purchasers may exchange it for a 7.4-carat pink diamond.
The 4S Elite is contained in a platinum case that is adorned with rare gems and chopped T. rex bones, indicating that the Elite is a 66 million-year-old phone.
Black Diamond iPhone
By this point, Stuart Hughes has considered himself a saint when it comes to creating iPhones that cost impossibly. He was contacted by an unnamed Chinese businessman and asked to build a custom luxury iPhone 5.
The client had only one request, he wanted Hughes to incorporate a 26 carat black diamond into the design. The perimeter of the phone is covered with 600 white diamonds with an additional 53 making up the Apple logo on the back. The phone is valued at $15 million, with $14.5 million of that value coming from the central black diamond.
Honorable mention – Caviar iPhone 13 Pro Victory Pure Gold
The name of the phone may sound strange, but the price is what makes it to this list.
The phone’s case is made of 170 grams of 18-carat gold on the iPhone 13 Pro and 205 grams on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, (according to Caviar). Instead of covering it in hundreds of diamonds, the gold has been engraved with an artistic design. Of course, there are still diamonds, but only eight of them. Instead of being the centerpiece of this phone, the diamonds act as accents, complementing the design.
Ninety-nine of these phones have been manufactured and each has an engraving on the side that shows your phone number. The Caviar Victory Pure Gold starts at $44,720 and fluctuates slightly depending on the model and storage you choose.
Of course, there will be many more iPhone models that will make the list of the world’s most expensive iPhones. Let’s wait and see!
