Revealed iFold Max version with unique design

When Samsung has launched to the 3rd generation of the Galaxy Fold line, the idea of an iPhone Fold (or iPhone Flip) has not yet come true. However, this did not stop concepts like the iFold Max from being born.

iFold Max is an iPhone concept with a surprising folding screen

Today, the account @MrHtech18 published a concept dubbed iFold Max on his personal Twitter page. This is an iPhone with a horizontal folding screen, similar to the Galaxy Fold from Samsung.

It’s clear that the iFold Max’s back camera cluster is a direct descendant of the present iPhone 13 Pro Max’s design.

iFold Fold

Due to his late birth, we can see that iFold Max’s details are well-finished. When connecting the two parts of the folding screen, the hinge, in particular, is quite flawless.

The external secondary display is around the same size as the current iPhone models. The notch is still present, but the camera technology behind the screen has yet to be implemented.

It’s a shame that this concept does not show us the phone’s inside design.

iPhone Fold, iPhone Flip, and reports of an iPhone with a foldable screen

People had heard a lot about iPhone Flip, iPhone Fold… before the idea of an iFold Max arose. Some reports even stated that Apple would release the iPhone 14 Flip with the iPhone 14 series this year.

iFold Fold

The iPhone Flip has a clamshell style that is comparable to Samsung’s existing Galax Flip range. When folded, this design has the advantage of being more compact than Fold. Samsung is currently positioning its Galaxy Flip product line as a phone/fashion item for fashionable young people.

Apple is unlikely to release a folding iPhone this year, according to certain experts with vast expertise with Apple products, such as Ming-Chi Kuo. Apple will not be able to release a folding screen iPhone until at least 2023, if not 2024, according to Kuo.

iFold Fold

According to certain rumors, the iPhone Flip will contain an under-screen camera, as well as the Face ID solution that iPhone fans have been waiting for for a long time. According to certain rumors, Apple will release a foldable iPhone with no connectors. Wireless protocols are used for all functions, including charging and data transfer. If this is true, Apple will have released a really innovative device.

Many Apple patents have recently leaked, indicating that the corporation is seriously considering and building a folding screen tablet. However, as with many other patents in the past, it remains to be seen whether Apple will turn it into a working device.

Many other big phone makers, like Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, and others, have produced their own folding screen phones in addition to Samsung. In the last two years, sales of this product line have also begun to increase fast. This will almost certainly be the impetus for Apple to release a folding screen iPhone like the iFold Max in the future.

This is a iPhone news today! What are your thoughts on the concept of iFold Max? Does it pique your interest and make you want to spend money? Let us know in the comments section below!

iFold Max price, release date

Currently, there is no information on the price of iFold Max in the US or any other market in the world.

Experts predict that the first generation of folding iPhones will cost over $1000 and be produced in limited quantities to explore the market. However, with competing product lines such as the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip being increasingly priced lower, Apple cannot price its products too high.

It will be interesting if Apple launches a foldable iPhone product in the near future. It will make for an interesting race in this segment. And this will certainly bring many benefits to consumers.

In the meantime, perhaps iFans can only turn their attention to the iPhone 14 generation expected to launch in September this year with many interesting changes in design and features.
