How to do this?
Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and turn the feature off. Then, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Toggle on Optimized Battery Charging. Ok, now battery will last much longer. Let’s try it on and give me your comment.
Note: When you have the Background App Refresh setting off, apps won’t update in the background. For example, if you open your sports app, you might not be looking at the most up-to-date score right away.
In addition, you can go to Settings > Accessibility > Motion > Toggle off Auto-Play Message Effects and Auto-Play Video Previews. When disabled, the former won’t allow full-screen effects in the Messages app to auto-play (which might not be a big deal to you) and it will shut down auto-play of video previews.
At any time, you can return the options to the way they were.
